An iPad playroom for ages 2–6
Arosi
A quiet digital playroom for little ones.
Play that ends in a calm goodnight, not a fight.

Screen time without the fight.
You know the apps. The ones that flash and chime and never quite let go — that turn “five more minutes” into a meltdown.
Arosi is the opposite. It’s quiet. It’s finite. There is nothing to win, nothing to chase, and nothing trying to keep your child glued to the glass. When playtime is over, the little world simply settles into night, and your child steps away calm.
Three little worlds to wander
Each one rewards a gentle, unhurried touch — and a child who comes back tomorrow.
-
Rainy Day Room
A cozy window on a rainy evening. Draw in the fog, wake the sleeping cat, wind the music box. The quietest corners reward a curious, patient touch.
-
Bedtime Sky
A hushed night sky. Trace constellations with a fingertip, tap the moon through its phases, and wait — a shooting star is coming.
-
Lantern Reef
A glass dome at the bottom of a calm sea. Tend a reef of sleepy lantern creatures — stars that drifted down into the water.
How a session works
Three quiet steps — and not a countdown in sight.
-
Open
Tap once and you’re inside. No menus, no tutorial, no reading required.
-
Explore by touch
Everything answers to a gentle touch. A two-year-old discovers it without a single word from you.
-
A gentle goodnight
The world slowly grows quieter, warmer and darker, winding down to a calm goodnight — with no countdown your child ever sees.

Questions, answered plainly
Does Arosi need an internet connection?
Playing Arosi never needs a connection. Everything runs on the device — no account, no login, nothing to download after you install it. The only moment it touches the internet is when you choose to buy an optional expansion world through the App Store; then it’s offline again. It works on a plane, in the car, anywhere.
Are there ads, in-app purchases, or subscriptions?
No ads, ever. No subscriptions, ever. There are optional one-time expansion worlds, and they live behind a parent gate, so your child can’t wander into a purchase.
Why does it cost less right now?
Because Arosi is brand new. It’s calm and already worth playing, but it’ll have rough edges and the occasional bug while we keep polishing — so the launch price is lower to match. As Arosi gets more finished, the price rises toward $7.99. There’s no countdown and no fake discount; it’s simply an honest price for an early app. Buy it once at today’s price and every future update is yours, free.
Is my child’s data collected?
No. The App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected” — truthfully. There’s no analytics, no behavioural tracking, and zero third-party SDKs. The app is built only on Apple system frameworks.
What ages is it for?
It’s designed for ages 2–6. No reading is required — every interaction is meant to be discovered by a two-year-old, and there are no wrong answers and nothing to fail.
What devices does it run on?
Arosi is made for iPad, where the larger screen gives little hands room to explore. We’re starting on iPad to keep the first release calm and well-tested; an iPhone version may follow once it’s just as polished.
How do sessions end?
Gently. Instead of a sudden “Time’s up!”, the world slowly grows quieter, warmer and darker until it settles into a calm goodnight. Your child is never shown a countdown — so stepping away doesn’t feel like a punishment.
Why we made Arosi
Made by one family, for yours.
Arosi wasn’t made by a studio chasing screen time. It was made by our family, for our own kids — and it began with one small picture: a grove on a glowing hilltop, a single warm lantern under a dusk sky.
We wanted a screen we’d actually feel good handing our own toddler: one that keeps no score, sets no goals, and never tries to win his attention back. It doesn’t track where a child left off, and there’s nothing to finish or unlock — so the hundredth visit can feel as open and unhurried as the first.
Every soft sound and every gentle goodnight was tested by the hardest critics we know — our own children, with sound-effects help from the cats.
Made with love by the Smith family.
